Health and Safety

GBF retains a qualified Health & Safety Advisor who produces all the required documentation and control systems for their projects. This planning ensures that the work can be carried out in a controlled and safe manner without endangering operators or other members of the public.

We can supply full documentation for our Health and Safety and our Environmental Policies.

Our safety consultant is Maria Redman M.Sc, PG Dip, MIOSH, MIIRSM, AMIEMA, AMIQA

All GBF Personnel are trained in the following areas:

Comprehensive Company Induction Training covering:

General Site Safety; Emergency procedures; Accident Reporting Procedures; Use of Tools; Vehicle & Driving hazards; Work at Height; Harmful Substances and materials;
Electricity & Gas hazards; Personal Protective Equipment;
Slips & Trips / Housekeeping standards expected; Manual Handling;
Noise & Vibration; Lone Working; Mechanical Lifting; Confined Space hazards.

Specialist Training

Safe Use and Operation of Specialist Cleaning Equipment & Systems;
Safe Use & Operation of Plant (compressors / mechanical lifting equipment etc.);
First Aid;
Safe Use & Operation of mobile Lifting Platforms.
